Google has announced one of the most capable AI multimodal models called Gemini. This model is superior to its competitors, with better capabilities for understanding, summarizing, reasoning, coding and planning. The company has started rolling out Gemini Nano to the Mobile Pixel 8 Pro and has also rolled out Gemini Pro to the Bard Chatbot. Availability of Google Gemini
Gemini AI is available in India along with 170 countries and territories, excluding EU regions due to regulations. It currently supports the English language. The company is expected to expand its availability in the coming year. Furthermore, not only is Gemini AI Ultra available to a limited number of testers or regulators to gather feedback before rolling out to a wider audience, but Google has also announced that Gemini AI will be rolled out early next year.

When it comes to capabilities, Gemini AI is built from the ground up as a multi-modal model, meaning it can interact with any input that includes text, audio, video, and images. Moreover, Gemini AI can mimic human-like behavior.
According to Google, Gemini AI has surpassed OpenAI GPT-4. It achieved a score of 30/32 in MMLU, including tests in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, History, Law, Medicine and Ethics, demonstrating its strong reasoning and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, Gemini AI can understand, explain and generate high-quality code in popular programming languages such as Python, Java, C++ and Go.
AlphaCode 2 Upgrade is another major leap that demonstrates how Gemini AI has surpassed human experts with industry-standard performance on coding tasks, and Natural2Code makes it more feasible for developers. Overall, Gemini AI’s coding performance is very capable, as it can better understand, debug, write code, solve complex mathematical problems, and tackle theoretical computer science challenges.
How to use Google Gemini AI
The company has integrated Gemini Pro into Bard, the company’s chatbot, which is said to compete directly with OpenAI’s popular ChatGPT.
- Google has upgraded Bard from PaLM 2 to Gemini Pro.
- Go to bard.google.com and log in with your personal Google account.
- Then you will have a text field at the bottom where you can write the prompt and then start using the text.
We can expect Bard to improve further with the release of Gemini Ultra. Bard already has support for extensions, so in that case we can expect performance to improve further with extensions like YouTube, which will provide better answers to resolve questions.
This is the main way to use Gemini AI, which is located on Bard. The company has also released Gemini Nano on the Pixel 8 Pro, which is currently in beta testing. The company says it will roll out more capabilities to other Android OEMs in the near future.
